Who we are
xtrude is operated by Quarry Software Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, Australia. Contact: hello@treyha.com.
What xtrude does with your photos
Pipeline at launch: browser → Next.js (Vercel) → Modal inference → result back to your browser. Nothing in that path is written to durable storage for your upload or the generated cloud.
Launch storage model: ephemeral only. We do not persist uploaded photos or generated point clouds after the request finishes. Working memory on the GPU worker is discarded when the job completes. Marketing samples on the landing page are static demo assets we prepared ourselves — not user uploads.
Data we may process transiently
- The image you upload (JPEG, PNG, or WebP), resized on your device before upload where applicable.
- Derived reconstruction output (point positions/colors) returned in the API response.
- Technical request metadata needed to run the service (for example IP address for abuse prevention / daily free limits, timestamps, error logs).
- A small signed usage cookie that counts reconstructions used in the current UTC day.
Analytics & cookies
We use Vercel Analytics for lightweight, privacy-oriented traffic metrics (page views / performance). We also set an httpOnly usage cookie to enforce the free daily reconstruction limit. We do not sell personal information.
Free-tier limits
Without an account, use is limited by IP and a signed browser cookie (default: 10 reconstructions per UTC day, configurable by us). Limits exist to control GPU cost and abuse — not to profile you.
Processors / hosting
Infrastructure providers that may process data on our behalf solely to deliver the service include Vercel (web app) and Modal (GPU inference). Their processing is governed by their respective terms and our configuration (ephemeral inference for launch).
Your choices
Do not upload photos you are not comfortable sending through our processing pipeline. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. You can stop using the service at any time; clearing site data removes the usage cookie from your browser.
Changes
If we later add persistent storage (for example cloud archives of reconstructions), accounts, or payments, we will update this policy before those features go live.
